The term Saboun Baladi translated to “Local Soap” in Arabic referring to a handmade soap made locally, Saboun Baladi is an ancient way of making soap and is the most natural processes of soap making in Lebanon, therefore the soap is not perfect, it is made in very large molds then hand cut into cubes. This is the beauty of Saboun Baladi!

The size of the soap is large for two main reasons. First to make it longer lasting. Second, to create a grip for scrubbing.
